You can choose to pay an hourly rate or a flat fee.


If you want specific areas cleaned each time or just some general cleaning for a couple of hours, Made in Wolls can provide you with an hourly rate based on the work required. Please note that the minimum booking is 3 hours.


Alternatively, you can choose a fixed/flat fee that covers everything you want done irrespective of the time it takes. We clean until the job is finished, including attention to certain areas throughout your home such as window cleaning or appliances (the oven for example).

Hourly Rates

Our hourly rate is based on the time we spend cleaning, and our cleaners are tasked with cleaning as much as they can in the allotted time without a fixed list of what is included or otherwise.

Flexibility is key and you can simply nominate which areas of your home need cleaning. Our cleaners will do as much as they can in the time that is booked, and we can be 100% flexible with the work we do. The hourly rate service is perfect if you want specific areas of your house cleaned. Please note, our cleaners will always prioritise cleaning to a high standard over rushing and trying to complete the job too fast.

Made in Wolls Continuity Policy

Our flat-rate services are outcome-driven, eliminating the need to focus on specific time constraints, unlike our hourly-rate services. We diligently follow the checklist of tasks associated with your chosen service, including any additional options you’ve selected, until everything meets our rigorous quality standards.

 

To assist our cleaning teams in managing their schedules, we provide them with estimated time frames for each job. These timeframes serve as general guidelines, allowing your team to exert extra effort and work at a faster pace, if they are capable.

 

In the rare event that our initial cost estimates prove inaccurate, our “Made in Wolls Cleaning Service Continuity Policy” comes into effect. We will continue cleaning according to the original checklist for an additional hour at no extra cost. If, for any reason, we are unable to meet our high-quality standards within this extended time, additional charges may apply. Rest assured, you will always receive prior notice and the option to decide whether you’d like us to complete the remaining tasks.

Cancellation Policy

At Made in Wolls Cleaning Service, we take pride in our commitment to clear and effective communication with our valued clients. We favor written communication because it provides a reliable record and reference point for your convenience.


If you’ve made a single, one-time booking with us, your reservation is considered confirmed the moment you receive a booking confirmation email from us. For those with ongoing, regular bookings, such as weekly or fortnightly cleanings, your reservations are automatically confirmed for the same day and time slot each week or fortnight.


Our services don’t involve binding contracts, but we do request a minimum notice of 24 hours for any cancellations, rescheduling, or suspensions, which can be communicated through either email or phone. As our cleaning staff do not handle roster arrangements or have access to our booking schedule, we strongly advise you to reach out to us directly regarding any cancellations rather than solely informing your cleaners. We will provide written confirmation for all cancellations, either through SMS or email.


For cancellations or reschedule requests made with less than 24 hours notice, a cancellation fee will be applicable. In cases where we do not have sufficient time to fill a canceled time slot with another booking, and last-minute changes to our schedules are challenging to accommodate, this cancellation fee is set at one hour of cleaning. This fee is intended to compensate our staff for their loss of income, and we consider it a fair and reasonable policy.

Lockouts

If we arrive for a scheduled booking and encounter difficulty accessing the property, such as the absence of a key or an unresponsive contact person, our initial step is to attempt communication with you to explore alternative access options or arrange for someone to let us in. The time spent waiting for access is included in the cleaning service billing. In cases where we cannot reach you within a reasonable timeframe or access remains unfeasible, additional charges in the form of a call-out fee, alongside a late cancellation fee, will apply. This lock-out fee, which combines the cancellation and call-out fees, equates to two hours of cleaning. It is designed to compensate our staff for travel expenses, waiting time, and the loss of income.

 

To avoid these scenarios, we strongly advise all clients to record their booking dates in their calendars and establish a reminder system that allows for timely notification if a clean needs to be canceled or rescheduled. If you’re uncertain about your upcoming booking date, don’t hesitate to contact us, and we’ll verify it for you.
